Vale Insulation started with a simple belief: insulation isn't just a product you install, it's the difference between a house and a home that actually feels comfortable. For 20 years, we've been insulating homes and businesses across the Portland area, from Beaverton to Clackamas, Vancouver to Camas.
We actually got our start in residential work. As word spread and our reputation grew, we found ourselves taking on more and more commercial and multi-unit projects, the kind where precision and consistency matter most and there's no room for guesswork. That experience sharpened everything we do. Now, we're renewing our focus on residential customers, bringing that same level of expertise back to where we started, without stepping away from the commercial and trade partner relationships that helped us grow along the way.
What proper insulation does, is it wraps your entire home in an unbroken envelope, so the comfort you're paying for actually stays where it belongs.
HOW WE STAND OUT
Our crews are journeymen, not day laborers.
In our industry, becoming a journeyman isn't a title you get overnight. It takes years of hands-on training and field experience to earn it. Our installers have come up through real apprenticeship, working alongside crew members with a decade or more in the field. By the time they're on your job, they've already seen nearly every condition a house can throw at them, and they know how to handle it right the first time.
We hold ourselves to a higher standard, on materials and on cleanliness.
Quality doesn't stop at the insulation itself. We use materials that meet or exceed Energy Trust standards, not just the legal minimum, and we follow clear protocols on every job to make sure your home is treated with respect from start to finish. That means protecting your floors and belongings, cleaning up thoroughly, and leaving your space as good, or better, than we found it. Insulation work can get messy. We don't think that mess should ever land on you.
We pay our crews hourly, not by the piece.
A lot of insulation companies pay installers per job, which means the faster they finish, the more they make. We don't work that way. Our guys are paid hourly, so there's no incentive to rush, cut corners, or skip the details that actually matter. It also means we can pay a living wage with real benefits, and that changes everything. Crews who are treated fairly stick around. Much of our team has been with us for over a decade, and our dispatcher has been with us for more than 20 years. That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident, and it shows up in how our guys treat your home, with the same respect we show them.
We're not always the cheapest bid, and we're okay with that.
What we hear most from customers isn't that we were the lowest price. It's that we were the ones who actually picked up the phone, took the time to answer their questions, and didn't disappear once the contract was signed.

The Family behind Vale
Vale Insulation is a family-run business, led by owner Noe Gaxiola. Noe isn't a hands-off owner. He's the one who walks the job with customers, listens to what they're actually experiencing in their home, and translates that into clear direction for his crew, because he knows that good communication between the estimate and the installers is what keeps a job from going sideways.
That care extends to how he runs the business, too. Vale is a family operation at its core. It's a business built on relationships, with the crew, with customers, and within the family, and that shows in the way every job gets treated: not as a transaction, but as something worth doing right.
